Dear sailors, and those who are almost sailors...
I am really looking forward to our sailing trip in 2024 - an IQX tradition that we want to revive this year.
For those who have never been on a boat... we are about 13 meters long and have a 2-ton lead keel. Boats like these cannot capsize; due to their large mass, the boat's movements are also very forgiving – we have hardly had any problems with seasickness on our countless sailing trips.
We have a number of very experienced sailors with extensive local knowledge of the "home sailing area" in our ranks who will safely get us from A to B.
You also have plenty of space on the boat - everyone has their own cabin ;-)
Our trip will start in Biograd, then proceed roughly as shown on the left - we are dependent on wind and weather ;-)

Process:
The IQX sailing trip is organized as a corporate event, meaning you can deduct your "contribution towards expenses" from your taxes.
IQX will charge you a "participation fee" of EUR 1,000 net; IQX will then book boats, etc.
The costs will be approximately:
Boat including insurance and diesel per person: 500.-
Food and fees per person: 500.-
I assume that this amount covers all travel expenses (the journey for those who are driving...that's a business expense ;-)

Our destination is Biograd , meeting point there is Sat 28.9, around 13:00.
On the day of arrival, we can take over the boats from about 13:00. We will buy everything we need for a week in Biograd (depending on the route, shopping opportunities on the islands are poor...).
If all goes well and the weather cooperates, we'll drive to Zut on Saturday and have dinner there (at my favorite restaurant ... ;-)
